The theme for this wedding was ‘True Colours’, one of the couple’s favourite songs, with such a deep meaning to them both, the bride had one of the verses tattood on her arm for the wedding day.
The gorgeous Bride Courtney surprised me and everyone else, by walking down the aisle, holding not the traditional bouquet, but a wild… huge…colourful ‘Charlie and the Chocolate Factory-esque’ Lollipop, swirling with colour. Her groom and his groomsmen wore chupachups lollipops as their buttonholes!
Wearing fabulously bright coloured converse runners, the bridal party looked current, funky and oh so comfy.
The vibrantly dressed bridesmaid’s were full of laughter, bubbles and excitement carrying matching lollipops and multicoloured wacky converse runners too…! What a statement and what a fresh, different twist to traditional ideals of what a ‘Bride should’ look like. I was delighted at the vision before me as the bridal party appeared at the top of the aisle, and was her groom, Ben.
Their wedding album has a wonderful splash of fun, colour and difference – what an impact those lollipops and converse made to the photos.
