Looking forward to watching their tattoos fade

It was a wildly windy day on the 14th September this year in the magical Hidden Grove at Noosa Main Beach, surrounded by very excited family and friends, Casuarina Trees and the gorgeous crystal blue Pacific Ocean in the background Emily walked down the aisle on the arm of her very proud Dad Rob.

I looked across at Drew, I saw tears in his eyes and the absolute ‘look of love’ on his face.

This thoroughly modern couple who have been together for over 5 years looked amazing together, the ceremony was so emotional and the couple honoured each delighted parent, with Rob walking his daughter down the aisle,  Drew’s father John being asked to present the rings in a short but sweet moment where he hugged his son and new daughter in law….

There were a few giggles when the bride slipped into her vows that she really wanted a puppy, the groom beamed and agreed it was a definite ‘maybe’.

They said ‘We are looking forward to sharing a lifetime of memories together, and watching each others tattoos fade. It was one of the best days of our lives, we are just so happy’

There were beams of pride when I announced, as a surprise, that Emily and Drew would like their two gorgeous Mum’s to stand beside them and act as their witness at the signing of the register and lots of ‘fizzing’, laughter and love at the signing table.

Emily looked like a true ‘Rock Chick’, so chic yet so edgy, in her fitted, ivory and organza Liz Fields gown

Their photographer Terri Hanlon captured the mood and the style of the day so beautifully.

What was their favorite part of their day?

Drew – My favourite part was hearing Emily’s vows.

Emily – Although it is hard to choose a favourite moment, I have to say my favourite part was walking down the aisle towards Drew. I could not wipe the smile off my face. I was so happy to see him and know that we were about to be husband and wife.
